This online course is delivered utilising a range of infographics, animations and videos to illustrate important concepts supported by real-life examples. Available to our registered NTP Tutors, there are six modules covering:

Safeguarding & Prevent Training

Level 2 Safeguarding


An essential part of registering as a tutor with the National Tutoring Programme is having up-to-date safeguarding training. 

If you have a certificate dated within the last 12 months simply upload it below. 

Alternatively, you can complete a level 2 safeguarding course (free of charge) through our CPD Academy. 

Prevent Duty


In addition to teachers' safeguarding training, prevent training is meant to alert teachers to the possibilities of “non-violent extremism”. 

Warning signs such as withdrawal from social circles, abnormal behaviour or changes in vocabulary are common amongst young people.

To facilitate the requirements of the NTP programme, there are three different platforms you must familiarise yourself with. Each plays a key role in supporting you to deliver results.
